Oh blog, how I have neglected you! So sorry, its been forever and a day since our last post. Last night, Nick Dirks pointed out to me that he has been watching the same video of Peyton over and over again because there wasn't anything new. Right now, I sit in the Memphis airport so finally have some time with nothing else to do. Well family and friends, here is what's new.
Peyton is now 16 month! She is walking, borderline running, climbing and developing a mind of her own! She is no longer the mellow little girl who lays still to change diapers and get dressed, she is on the go and busy, busy, busy! She is saying a few words like puppy, purple, hot, ouchie and thank you. Her favorite food is CHEESE! Anything with cheese in and she loves it. Mac-n-cheese, shredded cheese, grilled cheese etc... She loves to be outside, we had a week of warm weather and wasn't happy when it was time to go in. This summer will be struggle! Her new favorite thing to come and get us, grab onto a finger and pull us where she wants us. She usually takes us over to your toy area and makes us sit on the floor. After a while both Kyle and I (in our old age) get stiff and sneak way, but oh no! she comes right back to get us!
Some funny things that have happened in the last month or so include falling asleep in her high chair and pooping in the bathtub! Yes, I said pooping in the bathtub! I was wondering when it would happen, she was squatting down in the tub, laughing and splashing and it was all a cover up, cause she was really taking care of some business.
Alright, well gotta get on a plane, I will post photos and videos soon ( I promise) ..............stay tuned. : )
