Baby #2 - 12 Weeks

Instead of tracking all my pregnancy progress in a book this time, I've decided to keep it all here so bear with me if you don't care to see our progress every couple of weeks. I promise to keep fun Peyton updates as usual.

I'm 12 weeks along now, only 28 weeks to go!  (only, ha!)  I've been feeling good, minus the exhaustion but I think that is fading now.  I've also started to show!  This is a little earlier than last time, but apparently that is normal.  Not in maternity clothes by any means yet but they're probably coming soon.

How far along?  12 weeks, 3 days
Baby is the size of:  a Lime, 2 inches head to bottom
This weeks developments:  Baby's fingers will soon begin to open and close and mouth will begin making sucking movements.
Gender Prediction:  Kyle is convinced a girl and I'm thinking so too, but there a couple things that make me think it just could be a boy.
Total weight gain:  down 2lbs (was sick a couple weeks ago and lost a bunch)
Sleep:  like a rock - lots a dreams
Food cravings:  eating a lot of salads! and have been wanting HuHot!
Happy or Moody most of the time:  Happy
Looking forward to:  Counting down the weeks/days until we can find out if baby is a boy or girl!

Our next prenatal visit is Feb 24 at 14 weeks.  Until next time...

"Snowm"

In the words of Peyton, "It snowmed!"  It finally snowed here and was the first time we could really take Peyton out in it.  Don't get me wrong, I was loving our 50-60 degree winter and would welcome it back anytime, but Kyle finally got to use the snow blower and build a snowman.  We kind of failed at the proper attire, however.  The only snow pants we have for her are ones that Auntie Stephy got her last year for Christmas that are size 12 months.  Needless to say, they were a bit small.  We just pulled the pants on and left the suspenders around her waist.  We also did not have snow mittens or really even a good snow coat!  Everything was pretty much drenched.  I will say I was pretty happy with the boots.  They are adorable pink heart ones that I got at Baby Gap and her feet were dry when we came in.   I think it may take another time or two for her to like the snow, she really didn't like walking through it or being left standing alone in it.  So, her and I watched near by as Daddy made the snowman.  Here are a few pics as well as some other random ones from the last couple weeks.  Enjoy!
