Logan's 6 Month Check Up

Somehow, half of a year has past us already and our little man is on his way to one.  I'm a little late in posting this, his 6 months was actually Feb 13.  Saw the doctor and once again, everything is just fine.  I have to laugh though, the nurse was going through a series of questions about things that Logan may be able to do.... It went a little something like this:
  • Is he sitting up? .............. NO
  • Is he rolling over? ............NO
  • Is he crawling?  ...............NO
  • Ok then, he's just a content little guy isn't he?............. Yep!
6 Months Stats:
Height: 27.5 in (79%)
Weight: 17 lbs (36%)
Head: 45 cm (79%)
Peyton at 6 months: 26.8 in (81%), 16 lbs, 3 oz (52%), 42.5 cm (49%)

Little bits about Logan:
  • He's pretty content!  He's not sitting by himself but can sit up with a little support around him so he's on his way!
  • No rolling yet.  When on his back, he does get to his side but that's about as far as he'll take it.  We don't do nearly enough tummy time time but he kind of does a superman pose when there in an attempt to flip.  Peyton never rolled either, not until she was 8 or 9 months old!
  • Loved his rice cereal.  We moved on to the baby food and overall, not too bad.  I swear the kid likes the vegetables better than the fruits.  We still get a good sour face when eating fruits.  I think his favorite is quash!
  • When he gets really tired he always puts his left hand up on his forehead over his eye like, "oh man, it's been a long day!"  it's really cute!
  • Fascinated by his sister!  She's so busy, and he tries to keep an eye on her everywhere she goes.  She can get him to laugh pretty good too.  (I'll post a video soon)
  • Getting more vocal and making new sounds.  Of course one of the more prominent noises he makes is "dadadadadadadada," so Kyle loves that.  I just repeat, "mamamamamama" as much as can!
  • This one's a drooler!  He got his two bottom teeth at 5 months and just gnaws on his fingers or anything he can get in his mouth.  He likes his paci too and sometimes will pull it out to chew on it from the side.
  • Starting to get the hang of his exersaucer.  He still leans a bit but likes to play for a little while at least.  He can reach one toe down to the floor.

Until next time...
