Daycare and Grammy Pammy

Peyton got her first cold of the season.  She was all congested, sneezing and running nose.  Poor thing couldn't breath so in turn couldn't sleep.....so neither did we.  On top of that we we lost our daycare.  Jessica who was watching Peyton at her home decided to go back to work and Peyton's last day there was supposed to be Friday September 24 but was so sick she stayed home the last two days.  So in the meantime while we search for new daycare, Grammy Pammy came to stay.... for 2 weeks!  Grammy arrived on Sunday Sept 26 while Peyton was still sick and gave her a run for her money on Monday.  The rest of the week got progressively better and Peyton is back to normal now. 

Daycare Search:  We were pretty bummed when we learned Jessica got a job and Peyton was done there.  She did so well there and her and Stella (Jessica's daughter) were pretty good pals.  We asked around for a few other in-home options from friends and co-workers and got a few suggestions and started to call around the centers in town.  We toured a couple of centers and found one that was definitely better than the other and couple other ones we would have liked to look at.k are of course full.  Tomorrow we go to visit with a co-workers friend who is interested in watching Peyton along with her own two kids but would be just starting out the whole daycare thing.  On Tuesday we visit another lady who has been doing it for a long time but has a lot of kids there already.  We have decided that searching and finding daycare is probably one of the worst tasks ever!  We'll keep you posted on where we land.

Grammy Pammy is here for one more week then we all go to Minnesota for the "Williams" family reunion.  Saturday night, Kyle and I are off to San Diego for my friend Gina's wedding (she's getting married on 10.10.10) and Peyton will stay in MN with Grammy Pammy and Gpa Dave for a few more days.  This will be the first time Kyle and I are both away from Peyton for and extended period of time so we'll see how that goes!
