Oh My, It's a BOY!

We can't believe it, but baby #2 is a BOY!  We had an ultrasound last week (18 weeks) and got a good shot of the little man's boy parts!  I had a small feeling it was a boy but we are so girl oriented in our house it was a bit of a shock!  Kyle was legitimately shocked!!  There was not part of him at all that thought this was going to be a boy so he could not believe it!  Of course, the first thing I said was, "YES, now I get to go shopping!"  (Of course Kyle was banking on reusing all of Peyton's old clothes.)  We also scheduled the c-section for August 13 so now we know exactly when this little guy is coming to meet us!  It's kind of weird knowing this far in advance but we all know I like to plan!  Here is a first look at our little man!

Weekend Fun

The weather has been SO NICE here, we've been playing at the park 6 times a day and spending as much time outside as possible.  I just got back from a work trip to Mississippi and glad to be home!  Peyton has really started talking more and more.  She is definitely in the "mimic" mode!  She will repeat anything and everything we say including words she shouldn't.  She learned a new word a couple of weeks ago somewhere in Reinbeck and has had it on repeat mode ever since.  "Damn It!"  So needless to say we're watching what we say and trying to get her off that one!  Auntie Sassy came for a quick a visit this past Sunday on a layover so we got to hang out with her for a couple hours which was great!!  She brought Peyton and Easter basket with a pink bunny and she hasn't put it down since!  Here are a few random pics.
